A public hearing and disclosure of the proposed CBA major provisions is scheduled for: 4:00 P.M. June 29th, 2023 Redway Elementary School-Gymnasium 344 Humboldt Ave, Redway, CA, 95560

Copies of the LCAP and Budget may be inspected at the District Office (during normal business hours) or on the district website 72 hours prior to the hearing. All interested parties are encouraged to attend this meeting. The final LCAP and Budget adoption will then take place at a Special Meeting scheduled on June 30, 2023.

The LCAP is a tool for local educational agencies to set goals, plan actions, and leverage resources to meet those goals to improve student outcomes. The Parent Advisory Committee serves as a way for District parents to review, comment and provide parent perspective on the LCAP. There will be a Parent Advisory Committee Meeting on Tuesday June 6th from 4:00-5:00p.m. on the SFHS campus in the Wellness Center. This is a hybrid meeting feel free to attend in person or via Zoom. As you know, the storms, power outages, and unsafe road conditions caused schools to close unexpectedly for many days this winter. As a result of these missed days, the school district is required to use our “emergency closure days” which are on your 2022-23 school calendar as June 11, 12, and 13. This last week of school will be short days, with release times the same as
short Wednesdays.

Hello SHUSD families
Due to hazardous road conditions and continued inclement weather, all schools except Casterlin will have another late start tomorrow March 8, 23. Casterlin will remain closed. At this time we plan to run the buses two hours after their regularly scheduled time. If the buses are unable to get through, drivers will contact their riders in the morning. If anything changes, the district will update you as soon as possible.

All Schools except Casterlin are back in session Friday March 3rd. The schools will have a normal start time.
